The first graduation ceremony for widows of the Foundation took place on Monday 12th February, 2018. The event started at about 11:00am with praises and sermon that was delivered by Apostle Felix Eguzoro. In attendance were the Founder & President (Barrister Nnenna. Uchegbu), Mr Friday Ogbuehi (Director), Pastor Innocent Chibunna, Pst. Bridget Chikezerim, Prophet Isreal and his wife, including host of other guests, friends and well-wishers of the graduating students who came to witness the occasion. The event proceeded immediately after the President’s address where she highlighted the mission and vision for the Foundation. She advised the passing out widows to make proper use of the training they had acquired and to make judicious use of financial grant given to them by the Foundation to make a living. She also reminded those that were empowered with interest free cash to make gradual returns, to also enable others benefit from the scheme. The graduating students were in two categories thus:

1.     Catering 7 (seven) students

2.     Industrial 14 (fourteen) students

Total of 21 (twenty-one) students.

Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Certificates and Cash to each of them by the President supported by other Ministers of God present. Before the presentation Apostle Felix Eguzoro and other anointed men of God had prayed and dedicated the cash given to them so that it would be like a mustard seed in their hands for their individual and family expansion and growth. The graduation ceremony was as a result of three-days intensive program for Industrial graduates in Liquid Soap, Vaseline, Balm, Antiseptic and Insecticides. Their Catering counterparts had already concluded a three months intensive training in catering that included: Cake Making, Chin Chin, Meat-Pie and Small Chops. It is expected that the next batch of students will include other sections/departments of training such as Fashion, Beauty/Salon and Computer. Pictures attached show the event proper. The event was also streamed live on the Foundation’s official page on facebook (Mercy Ogbuehi Widows & Orphans Foundation).
