Fourth_Graduation_Ceremony_and_Christmas_Party_2018

In attendance were Mr. Friday Ogbuehi (Director), other Foundation Board Members and Volunteer Workers (Instructors), Barrister Olajide (a Neighbor) and other guests. Past students of the Foundation from the First to the Fourth. Friends and well-wishers of the graduating students also attended the occasion. The event proceeded immediately after the President’s welcome address (which was a televised broadcast from the State of Maryland, United States of America). It highlighted the mission and vision for the Foundation. The First, Second and Third Graduation Ceremonies and how excited she felt about the Fourth graduation ceremony. She also advised the passing out students to make proper use of the training they had acquired and to make wise use of the financial grant (empowerment) which will be given to the Widows among them.  She also reminded them that they were supposed to make gradual returns of the money given to them so that others can benefit from the scheme. The graduating students were in two categories thus:
Catering 19 (Nineteen) students 
Computer 7 (Seven) Students
Fashion 2 (Two) Students
Industrial (Seven) students
 
Out of 35 (Thirty-Five) students who graduated, 16 (Sixteen) were empowered; 2 (Two) with Sewing Machines given to them by the Foundation and the Computer students were give a flash drive of 16 gig each.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Certificates, Empowerment, Christmas packages which included Rice, Tin Tomatoes, Onions, Groundnut Oil and Condiments for everyone present at the ceremony. The presentation of Christmas gifts was handled by the Director supported by Barrister Olajide and Apostle Felix C. Eguzoro. Before the presentation, the Ministers (Apostle Felix Eguzoro & Pst. Innocent Chibunna) had prayed and dedicated the empowerment for expansion and growth. The event was also streamed live on the Foundation’s official page on Facebook Mercy Ogbuehi Widows & Orphans Foundation with pictures.
